ABOUT THE WRITER

Richard began a radio journalist career with the BBC in 1990 and started to write TV scripts in 97. His first drama script ‘a racy family drama’ was picked by ITV’s then Head of Drama Nick Elliot for consideration as a new adult TV series. Since attaining two MA’s in TV screenwriting and playwriting (De Montfort University and The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama respectively) he has had several options on TV and film projects and wrote episodes of BBC’s Doctors shortly after graduation.DLT Entertainment producers of the UK’s long running and successful sitcom ‘My Family’ commissioned Richard to create and develop a TV screenplay for West End stage dance show Burn The Floor. Presently Richard has been in talks with the likes of Red Planet and other well known production companies regarding drama and comedy projects as well as writing comedy sketches for CBBC‘Dick & Dom’ producer Steve Ryde.

Over the past ten years Richard has developed good relationships with some of the most well known TV producers in the business. In 2011 Richard was nominated for ‘Best Play’ by The Off West End Awards for his acerbically dark comedy drama Trading Faces.

ABOUT THE WRITER.

Writer/Director/Filmmaker Lyn Ferrand is the founder of Turning Point Theatre Company, Buzzword Films and turnaround films.

She has written, directed film and toured theatre, working in association with a variety of voluntary and statutory agencies.

She launched Buzzword Interactive Films with Greg Browning and was the Creative Director f0r five years.  Buzzword won several awards for its training films, including The National Training Awards.

In 2017 Lyn launched turnaround films to reissue some of her award winning films and to produce and direct new film projects.  February 2017: Filming a new project in Devon.
